Great outings for all kinds of weather!
Get fresh air at the zoo, in a park you've never been to, on a pirate ship in Annapolis Harbor or by joining up with other PMAH moms for a children's concert on the mall in Washington D.C. Try indoor activities perfect for rainy, muddy and icy cold days—such as seeing how well preschoolers can bowl, visiting museums, watching donuts being made or letting your child bounce off the walls at Xtreme Bounce Zone while you watch with other moms.

PMAH kids know how to party! PMAH treats our children to parties celebrating Valentine's Day, Spring, Halloween and the winter holidays.

A chance to be a grown-up!
Tired of being called Mommy even by your spouse? In addition to being addressed by your given name for an entire evening, PMAH's Moms' Night Out events offer adult conversation, uninterrupted dinners and perhaps a movie rated higher than "G" on a screen much bigger than your TV. Our annual Pamper Me Party focuses on the physical and mental wellness of our members by pampering them with free (yes, free) facials, massages, manicures, the works!

Expert advice on child development topics. 
Speakers at our biannual general membership meeting and occasional monthly meetings share their expertise. PMAH attempts to arrange speakers and topics so the differing needs and interests of parents of babies, toddlers and preschoolers are addressed. (New moms: Don't skip a topic simply because it'll be a year or two until you'll need the information. Your child's first day of preschool will be here before you know it!)

Get the maximum return on your PMAH investment! 
More than two-thirds of your annual PMAH dues are used for events, and this ratio continues to rise as our membership increases since our overhead expenses (copying, postage, etc.) remain mostly fixed. PMAH dues cover the costs of speaker fees, holiday parties (including favors, treats, crafts and entertainers) as well as enable us to offer discounted rates for many children's

activities and mom-only outings. Past funded events have included ice cream socials, Gymboree play sessions and a mom's night at the Bead Bungalow. The more events you attend, the more fun you get for your PMAH dollars!

Many PMAH members find wonderful "homes" and make terrific friends in their playgroups. And many feel their playgroup provides them with enough support and, along with other outings, enough activity for their children. While PMAH doesn't advocate over-scheduling our children, PMAH Events are a great resource for moms who are seeking affordable activities for  their children and more interaction for themselves.
